Use one set of brushes per equine animal. Sharing brushes is a bad idea. Just as it is for humans to share hair brushes. Many 'things' can be spread from one animal to the next by sharing brushes. Also make it part of your routine to clean brushes and disinfect them buy soaking them in proper solutions.
